Business reporting to me is more important than ever. The Great Recession highlights the trickle down effect to everybody of business practices and government regulation of them. I hope to use my skills to help make sense of business trends and events, and what those things have to do with people's jobs and livelihoods.
Since 2010, I have been building experience as a business reporter in the Southwest Ohio region. One reason I have pursued a career in business reporting is because of my unique background—in addition to a journalism degree, I have degrees in accounting and a Masters of Business Administration at Wright State University.
